Cleaning my pot

I made some faux BBQ chicken yesterday morning. Boneless. Skinless. Chicken. Fairly tasteless also.

Well, the sweet sauce burned on the bottom of the pot while I wasn't looking. A soaking didn't help. Vigorous swearing didn't help.

You might think the pot had a new bottom.

But then I got smart. Splashed in some olive oil. Put on the lid. Brought up the heat.

In a few minutes, success!



The hot oil lifted the char from the pot.

With a quick scrub, we're set for the next stew.



And there was much rejoicing!
