Gum disposal at NCSU

Most campuses have a rock or wall where students paint signs and such. NCSU had both.

It also has a wall where students appear to leave their gum.

Let's start at the north end, as we find it walking away from Hillsboro street.


This wall continues for ten and a half paces as I step.


As you look up the wall, you can see the upper limit of student height. A few wads of gum way above probably came from members of the basketball team.


And yes, we need to write stuff in places.


The thing is that most of us have received many lectures regarding the appropriate disposition of gum. I suppose this wall provides testiment to the new found freedom college can present.

Nonetheless, if you have a need for used gum, here's your wall.
