Letters prompt anthrax scares at Alabama courthouses, offices of senators and congressmen


What a numbnutt did: "Envelopes containing white powder set off anthrax scares in five Alabama cities, shutting down two federal courthouses Monday and trapping a congressman in his office as authorities tested the substance."

Somewhere in Akabama there's a piece of white trash with an open bag of white flour who has made a lot of trouble. For surely less than $10, he, she, or it has cost the local federalies several thousand dollars.

A pan of biscuits would have made more sense.
