Big meals, salaries boost chances of N.C. liquor reform

http://www.wral.com/news/state/story/6778983/

So we have a group that received a fancy meal. And a father-son pair who make a fat salary.

The fix here is very simple, and the only people who can't see it, or more likely just plain fear it, are those who still handle venomous snakes and call it Christian worship.

NC has no business selling liquor in speciality stores. The government should be in the business of taxing and spending.

To this end, move liquor sales to the grocery stores just like many other states do. Let private enterprise handle the day-to-day mess, and save the rest of us the extra stop when we're shopping.

We can also lose those idiotic blue laws while we're at it.
