Malawi gay couple to face court after engagement

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8433640.stm

Police said: Two gay men arrested in Malawi after getting engaged are to be charged with gross public indecency.

Gross public indecency? What praytell did these two homos do?

Here ya go: Tiwonge Chimbalanga and Steven Monjeza held a traditional engagement ceremony over the weekend - believed to be the first gay couple in Malawi to do so.

Don't look, Myrtle!!!

First, it was Uganda, at the subtle urging of Rick Warren et al, to execute gays. Maybe Malawi needs some better lawmakers.

Maybe someone on that continent needs to get a grip.

What's next? Marginalization of women? Nope. They're already doing that.

Here's what the couple faces: "Homosexuality carries a maximum prison sentence of 14 years in Malawi."

We need a pink underground railroad.
