If you needed further evidence that healthcare reform was swirling in the toilet after the numbnuts in the Senate finished, here you go.

Insurance company stocks through the roof. Most went up ten-fold higher than the Dow. Some more so.

Now think about that. Investors see that the proposed healthcare reform will function to improve the profits of the insurance companies.

This should worry someone besides me.

And where will the profit come from? You. Me. All of us. We won't be any healthier, and we will likely be less healthy, but the bean counters at the insurance companies are going to be dancing for joy, what with all that extra money.
