Remember the guy who set the underground art world aflame several months ago? No one really found all that much wrong with what he did except maybe a DA and a judge. Even the company that owned those orange barrels had no real complaint. In fact, the company liked that drivers started to pay attention.
But the fellow received 50 hours of community service anyway.
Well, he spent those 50 hours with a non-profit that sorts through old computer stuff. Machines that can be restored are given away. The rest is recycled somehow for the spare change.
It turns out that company needed some exposure of just the kind the barrel monster creator could provide, and now we have an elephant some seven feet tall that is about to be painted purple.
You just gotta love it when Serendipity's plan comes together.
