Well, we still do not know what AT&T ever went down this road in the first place, and we'll likely never know why we're seeing the sudden about face.
Did AT&T resolve its fraud problem? Or does the company want to pull out of the screaming nosedive of a PR disaster before it blasts a crater worthy of a modern day Krakatoa?
I'm going with the latter because it tastes better.
More to the point, as Mashable says "With many New Yorkers not happy with AT&T’s coverage, they didn’t need any more bad press."
