Internet Virus Frames Users For Child Porn HuffPost - http://bit.ly/3I39ls
Let me show my age here.
It used to be that we worried about malicious code deleting important files or wiping entire disk drives.
Later, we worried that malicious code might snitch passwords and send email from our accounts. Or transfer money from our checking accounts.
Then we worried that malicious code might use our computers when we weren't looking to do something peculiar.
And of course, we all worried about identity theft.
However, all that pales in comparison to this new one. The malicious code stores kiddie porn on your machine so a pediphile can do his thing later at your expense.
And I do mean at your expense. The federalies tend to figure the illegal porn belongs to the person who owns the computer, and it can take some expensive doing to prove otherwise.
BTW, these guys are usually straight men.
Y'all prolly wanna make sure your virus software is up-to-date.
