Drug Makers Raise Prices in Face of Health Care Reform
Critics say the industry is trying to establish a higher price base before Congress passes legislation that tries to curb drug spending in coming years.
This is greed, pure and simple. Drug companies jacking up prices to compensate for what they think will be a loss during the next year with a much needed change in health insurance reform that we might never see.
And if course, the argument becomes that we need the revenue to support the continued development of newer and better classes of drugs.
We also need runways for the flying pigs to land on.
