Another reason to be careful in Florida

From The New York Times:

Justices Weigh Life in Prison for Youths Who Never Killed

There are just over 100 people in the world serving sentences of life without parole for crimes they committed as juveniles in which no one was killed; 77 of them are in Florida.

I have a great deal of trouble with state sponsored homicide. This also extends to life imprisonment, though I can make exceptions.

My problem arises with the hysterical application of mindless law.

Are we that old in Florida?
